Well on our Pacifica here, one thing that I thought initially when I got in, a lot of seating. Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the MaxxTow roof mounted cargo basket on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica.So on our Pacifica here, we have quite a bit of space to put our people; a lot of seats, three rows, but honestly, leg room is kind of at a minimum. So if we're going on a trip to Florida, somewhere far away, it's going to just be ideal to get all of our stuff out and up on to our basket. Just because I always like to have plenty of legroom, and you guys probably know better than me when the kids are comfy in the back, when you're going on long trips, they're usually happier, which makes everybody a lot more happy.So we are going to have a steel construction with a nice powder coated finish, so it's going to match our factory bars pretty well. It's not too glossy, not too flat. Also, we are going to have about 38 and a half inches by 34 and a half inches of space and these sidewalls here are going to come up about three and a quarter inches. more

Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket Review - 2018 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Speaker 1: Today, in our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica we're going to be test fitting the Thule Canyon XT Roof Basket, part number TH859XT. The Thule Canyon XT is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof. Now, if you have a minivan such as this one, you know that the more space you have the better. Here you can see we have luggage, we have a cooler, you can also have sporting goods equipment, anything you want to keep out from inside the minivan that could possibly make it dirty or just free up some space.While it doesn't come with the straps that you see here, it does provide plenty of tie down points for these straps to secure your loads to the cargo basket. These straps you can find on etrailer.com. With our hatch open, you can see you're not going to have any issues of clearance between the hatch and our cargo basket. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica we're gonna be test fitting the Rhino Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket part number RMCB. The Rhino Rack Cargo Basket is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof and freeing up space inside your vehicle. As you can see we have luggage, we have a cooler and you can also carry sporing goods equipment as well. The basket itself does not come with the tie downs available but it has plenty of points to attach those tie downs to, to secure your load while you drive. You can find these straps on etrailer.com. With everything loaded up you can see we're not going to have an issue of clearance between our rear hatch and our basket. more

Thule Roof Basket Review - 2017 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Today in our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be testing the Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket, part number: TH859XT. Our cargo basket is great for keeping things out of your vehicle that you don't want in there or to make more space for you and your family while you are traveling. It can carry a wide variety of items ranging from luggage to sporting goods equipment to coolers. The cargo basket has a nice aerodynamic shape to it and that, coupled with the fairing that's installed in the front, you're going to experience less wind noise and drag while you're driving. The measurements are going to be 49" long by 40" wide by 6" tall at its highest point. We also have several points here which you can use as a tie-down for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. It has a carrying capacity of 150 pounds, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. Also, with the cargo basket in its current position, we're not going to have any issues of clearance between our actual hatch and the cargo basket itself. First we'll go ahead and set our cargo basket onto our roof rack, lining up our brackets at the front here. We're going to have to make some adjustments to bring our rear brackets where they need to be. You're going to have two bolts on the inside here. more

Rhino Rack Roof Basket Review - 2017 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica we're going to be test fitting the Rhyno-Rack Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part number RMCB. The Rhino-Rack Cargo Basket is great for keeping any items you don't want on the inside of your vehicle to make more space for you and your family while you travel. It can carry anything from sporting goods equipment to camping gear to coolers. The basket's aerodynamic shape, coupled with the fairing that does come installed, it's going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. The basket measures 47" long by 35" wide by about 6" tall at these points here. It has a carrying capacity of 165 pounds, although you want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. With our current position that the basket's in, we're not going to have any clearance issues between the hatch and the cargo basket itself. Now we can go ahead and set our cargo basket onto our roof rack and push it into place. more

Thule Roof Basket Review - 2015 Chrysler Town and Country- Video
Today on our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country we're doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon XT roof-mounted cargo basket. This is 49" long by 40" wide by 6" deep. The part number for that is TH859XT. This has a 150 pound weight capacity. Now you do want to double-check with your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure your vehicle can withstand that much weight. You'll take whichever is fewer. We already have three of our four mounts in place. more

Your CURT Cargo Basket is great for carrying a wide variety of items that you don't want to keep in your vehicle to possibly make more space for you and your family. Some things you can put in the cargo basket range from luggage to sporting goods equipment to camping gear to coolers. To cut down wind noise and drag, the cargo basket does come with this fairing. It has a nice sturdy construction to it. Because of the bars, you have several tie-down points for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. The measurements of this cargo basket are 41-1/2" long X 37" wide x 4" tall. more

Today on 2014 Chrysler Town and Country we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Canyon XT Roof Mounted Cargo Basket. That's part number TH859XT. So I've already got it loaded up just to give you a good idea of what it looks likes, it's on our factory roof rack system. It's dimensions are 49 inches long, by 40 inches wide, and 6 inches deep here at the center. Now when positioning your basket up your roof you always want to be sure you leave enough room so you can still open up your rear hatch all the way. As you can see we're not going to have that problem with the way we have it set up. more

Today on our 2014 Chrysler Town and Country, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket. That's part number C18115. Now it's dimensions are 41.5" long, 37" wide, and 4" deep. Now when loading the roof rack, or excuse me, the roof mounted cargo basket on your roof, it's always a good idea to make sure you leave enough room so you can still open your rear hatch. You can see with the way we've got it positioned onto our factory roof rack system, we're not going to have that issue. A few other things to know about the roof mounted basket, it is made out of a tubular steel construction design. It has 150 pound weight capacity, though you'll want to be sure and check with your vehicle's owner's manual to see if it can carry that much. more

Today on our 2016 Chrysler Town and Country, we're doing a test fit of a Thule Canyon Roof Cargo Basket, part number TH859. Now, we already have it on our vehicle. The dimensions are 49 by 40 by 6 and it can hold up to 150 pounds. We have 3 of the 4 tie downs on, show you how to install the last one. Get up here. Now, we have our cover to put on last but what we have is our U-bolt, 2 washers, and 2 thumb sweeps. You want the washers to go above the plate. more

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chrysler Town and Country- Video
Today on our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country we will be test fitting the Yakima LoadWarrior roof-mounted cargo basket. That's part number Y07070. Now our Town & Country here today already has its factory rails installed. We've already pre-assembled our pads and put them in place so we can go ahead and begin by putting our basket on top of our rails. Once we get it on there I'll go ahead and walk to the front of the vehicle. I'll check to make sure it's all centered up. more

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Cargo Basket Review - 2013 Chrysler 200- Video
Today on our 2013 Chrysler 200, well be test fitting the Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket, part number Y07070. With our roof rack system already assembled to the vehicle, well begin our test fit by sitting the cargo basket onto the vehicles crossbars. Well swing the brackets around the underside of the crossbar and tighten them down with the wing nuts. Well repeat these steps for all three of the other brackets. That completes todays test fit for the Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket, part number Y07070 on our 2013 Chrysler 200. . more

Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2010 Chrysler Town and Country- Video
Today on our 2010 Chrysler Town and Country, we will be test fitting the Thule M.O.A.B. Roof Top Cargo Carrier, part number TH690. With our roof rack already set for the 28" spread and our cargo basket already preassembled, we're ready to go ahead and mount it to the vehicle. We'll begin by setting the cargo basket on top of the vehicle and will center it from left to right, will then tighten it down using the included hardware with the basket. With our hardware tight and our basket clamped down to the vehicle, we'll go ahead and install the hardware covers. Now that the hardware covers are on, our cargo basket is ready to be loaded and head on down the road. more

Today on our 2010 Chrysler Town and Country we will be test fitting the Yakima Load Warrior Roof Rack cargo basket. Our vehicle roof rack is already preset to the 30 inches recommended by Yakima for the cargo basket, and our roof rack is already preassembled. Well go ahead and mount it to he vehicle. Well begin by setting the cargo basket on top of the vehicle. Well center it from left to right. Then well attach it using the included hardware. more

Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2012 Chrysler Town and Country- Video
Today, on our 2012 Chrysler Town and Country, we'll be test fitting the Thule Roof Cargo Carrier, part number TH690. With our factory roof rack preassembled and our cargo carrier preassembled, we are now ready to test fit it on top of the vehicle. We'll began by setting the cargo carrier on top of the roof rack, centering it from left-to-right and then clamping it down using the provided hardware with the cargo carrier. And with our hardware all tightened up, our basket is secured to the roof rack. We'll then cover with the provided hardware covers. And just like that our cargo carrier is secured and ready to be loaded. more
